Night Trekking

The night trekking allows you to experience the sanctuary forest at night. Although seeing a tarsier is likely but not guaranteed, the experience is amazing.

The night trekking starts at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 7:30 or 8:00 p.m. The is P500.00 max of two persons.

STRICTLY: No flashesKeep voice extremely low as much as possible, do not touch the animals or the tarsiers if you see one; do not litter or leave anything, do not take anything.

WHAT TO EXPECT: It’s a natural environment, thus the trail will be muddy when raining (umbrellas are no use when raining too, so just prepare rain coat), thick growth of bushes and trees, some trails are slippery, some a little up hill, some a little narrow. It will be very dark thus secure a flashlight/torch. You will be drenched in dew or sweat after the trek so bring extra shirt.

All in all, enjoy the forest and enjoy nature.

YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO: Watch the 15 minute video about the foundation, the sanctuary and the tarsiers before the tour. Write your feedback on the foundation’s Trip Advisor page; just click the link on the right side. It would be great if you’d subscribe on the tarsier foundation’s website as well.

IMPORTANT: This tour is subject to weather conditions. It is also important this be scheduled 2-3 days in advance to set the schedule of the night trekking guides.
